Hey guys, I know it has been awhile since I have been very active, but i'm just now getting into my "C" school in the navy so I have been alittle busy. I finally feel enough confidence in what I have read and seen to post a mock draft. I hope you all enjoy. A couple of quick notes are that I am going to focus on the draft and a couple of the bigger name free agents. I hope you all enjoy
Free Agent Signings:
Sean Smith: Cornerback- (Ex Miami Dolphin)
Mike Jenkins: Cornerback- (Ex Dallas Cowboy)

Martellous Bennett: Tight End- (Ex New York Giant)
Michael Bennett: Defensive End- (Current Tampa Bay Buccaneer)
Roy Miller: Defensive Tackle- (Current Tampa Bay Buccaneer)
Ronde Barber: Safety- (Current Tampa Bay Buccaneer)
And now it's time for the draft...
First Round: Xavier Rhodes: Cornerback- Florida State
Second Round: Margus Hunt: Defensive End- Southern Methodist
Third Round: Stefan Taylor: Runningback- Stanford
Fourth Round: Jelani Jenkins: Outside Linebacker- Florida
Fourth Round: Ace Sanders: Wide Receiver- South Carolina
Fifth Round: David Quessenberry: Offensive Tackle- San Jose State
Sixth Round: D.C. Jefferson: Tight End- Rutgers
Seventh Round: Kayvon Webster: Cornerback- South Florida

I like it, just another offseason where we sign every single good free agent we want. Feels very Madden-like. Sean Smith, Mike Jenkins, AND Martellus Bennett? Seems like a pipe dream.
Nice draft, like the picks a lot. I personally think Stepfan Taylor will be a beast, I hope we get him.

Agreed except we did it last year and decided to free up some more money to get the guys we need. Realistically Sean Smith with take eric wright's contract (possibly alittle less) and jenkins can be had for nothing crazy expensive.

That's true, but just because we broke the bank last year for the first time ever, doesn't mean we'll do it every year.

Very true. If they are going to spend again i feel like each of these guys can be had for not too much. But you are right that it isnt a lock to spend each year

Ya I thought about that. He was kind of my stretching it pick. There is the possibility that he will be there though. |
I think we can trade down find a partner take Rhodes as then package those picks to move up for hunt. |

| I love the free agent moves but personally I dislike the draft. If we go defensive line, I hope its to aid McCoy in the middle. Not a fan of taking a RB high but I do love Ace Sanders and Jenkins in the 4th. |

I would have to agree with this, last year was an aberration in my opinion. I think we will swing a CB, but 2 top end FA's at that position seems unlikely.
I do expect us getting some talent at CB and DE, whether it's via FA or the draft. |

i agree completely the draft is awesome EXCEPT the 2nd round pick. with resigning Bennett i see more need at DT someone like Sharrif Floyd UF or Sylvester Williams UNC |
