Free Agents $48m to spend....
Mike Vick $10m
He is arguably the best available QB. The dawg poung welcomes him back with love after 8 sacks on him week 1 2012.
Reggie Bush $5m
Best college HB of all time & arguably the most improved NFL player over the last 2 seasons. I can see Bush's career last till he is in that Ricky Williams level age wise.
Mike Wallace $10m
If your going to have to pay top dollars out there you may atleast try to over pay for talent & not just roster fodder. Wallace is the best WR in our division not named AJ Green.
Anthony Spencer $10m
12 2012 sacks & looking back his FF #s look good. You can see why Jerra Jones tagged him. Having 2 solid pass rushers coming off the edge in the newly formed 3/4 line will be energetic to our win/loss column.
Draft
#6 Star Lotulelei
Taking safe picks when you get the right kind of guy is what has made the Ravens & Steelers such strong opponents for years. Star is slightly higher rated then what Ngtata was coming out. But honestly comparing them to each other is not even fair. Let Star shine is what I say.
#69 FS
Baccari Rambo, Tony Jefferson, TJ McDonald, Phillip Thomas, & who ever else is in that 2nd-3rd round range unless a BPA sticks out. Never know somebody like Xavier Rhodes could fall way past 3rd <Patriot nabbed Dennard in 7th 2012>
#101 OLB
Sean Porter is mocked all over the board. Some other guys are going to fall you know BPA at this point. I know I want the 4th used on OLB if one is there and no other player worth taking is around.
#132 TE Michael Williams
I see him being snagged very early as early as 2nd-3rd in fact. Plays for too big school & if he prepares for the combine & shows good numbers....
#164 DB Honey Badger
Couple websites are grading himin the 4th round range. HB has the same character concerns of a fellow HB who once played for OSU. Lets hope he turns around his career & just nails it day 1 starting #2. Plays lights out like GB value pick 2nd/2012.
#196 SS/OLB Kenny Tate
He was once in Walterfootballs top 32 I think early 2011 mockaroo for 2013. Either way finding somebody to be a coverage specialist with good tackling will go a long ways. Late rounders like these don't always work out. meh....

Most of this mock is good
Except the part where we sign Mike Vick, especially for 10 Mil
Also, Bush seems unnecessary _________________

I'm pretty solid at picking TEs and I'm telling you Michael Williams is exactly what we're missing. He and Cameron are perfect for us. _________________ Trent Richardson please!!! |

One thing we are all forgetting about Vick. He comes out and plays at 2012 level or maybe comes out with venegance. Either way he is going to put up better numbers than Mr 2nd career not a franchise QB ginger pants.
I think having an offense with Vick, TR, Wallace, Gordon, Williams, Little, Benji, Jordan, & Reggie Bush wow!!!!!
with Turner just getting axed and having to go all the way to Cleveland and work for a student...
plus you may even have to account for Cribbs & MoHard.
That would seem like a very potent O |

I really like him too. Do you think he solves the FB issue as well? _________________

Unfortunately no but I really think Smelley can grow into a good FB. You don't have to have an imposing man to be a FB. Just an effective blocker. _________________ Trent Richardson please!!! |

Weeden is going to be the starting QB. He is probably one of the reasons Chud wanted to come here. _________________ Trent Richardson please!!! |

Mix it up then on the FA side.
I would be totally fine with sctratching Vick & Bush there is $15 mill.
You could shore up the interrior O-line with that & sign Levitre & upgrade in the secondary if your not running with Sheldon Brown or a earlyer pick....
This FA market is going to be loaded with over price signings with teams like Bengals Colts & US having to spend so much with out big contracts being up.
There are only couple probowl level guys still in there prime. I think we will see a whirl wind of major cap cuts soon. |

I disagree with that, I think Chud wanted to come here because he has roots here..and it was a HC gig. An evaluation of Brandon Weeden needs to be made promptly. Either you stick with him, or move in another direction. We'll see what the new regime decides, after all they didn't pick Weeden. |

No vick no Bush. I'd go for that guard from the Bills and maybe a CB or S.
that is all
