With the Conference Championship games wrapped-up and the 49ers playing the Ravens in the Superbowl . . . two former Vikings of HOF-caliber square off on opposite sides of the field. Which would you prefer earns the ring? Why?
NOTE: I specifically exclude Bryant McKinney from the options because he's not HOF caliber, nor do I expect him to stay out of the news for the next 14 days . . . |

I think you should have included McKinnie on the poll. |

I kind of wrestled with that . . . but what the heck, if Birk wins one, so does the McKinney.
Although it'd be awesome to see Randy go off for 8 catches, 150 yrds and 3 TDs in the SuperBowl, I think it would be more fitting to see Matt Birk raising the Lombardi.
He's been such a consistent workhorse and stellar player -- the best at his position for 14 years. Even with Sullivan growing into his own, I don't think he'd beat Birk at the position right now.
I don't like the fact that either of these guys was shipped/cut/walked from the Vikings, but business is business. I'm excited to watch the SB, as always, but this year will be a bit more intriguing.
Next year, ya never know, there could be a whole lotta Vikes getting rings. |

| I would probably vote for Randy Moss, so McKinnie doesnt get a ring. He of all professional football players is least deserving to be on a super bowl winning team. That would just have to sting, for players like Cris Carter, Tony Gonzalez, etc, who busted there tails all there career for a bum like McKinnie to get something they never will. |

I'm so impartial to who I want to see win the Super Bowl. However, I want Moss to have a ring. _________________

49ers have always been my secondary team so I want them to win, but to answer the question...
Birk over Moss every day of the week. _________________

Birk and Moss both deserve rings. So I'm going to go with the guy who will be in the Hall. Moss. _________________

He is why I voted for Moss, at least in part. _________________ "No one can disguise mediocrity better than Bill Belichick." |

I'm rooting for the Ravens for 3 reasons.
1. John Harbaugh seems alot more classy then Jim.
2. Matt Birk has always been a stand up guy and I still consider him "one of us"
3. Perhaps my biggest reason for rooting for Baltimore is that I wanna see if Bryant Mckinnie can literally break a scale after winning the Super Bowl. I seriously think 500 lbs is within reach for him. |

| I love Birk and Moss but I have to root for Moss since I wanted him to win a ring for years but if Birk win, I will be happy for him too, it is a win win |
