Super Bowl XLVII: San Francisco 49ers vs Baltimore Ravens

I have always been irked by the way the last game went down. I am hoping we will find out for sure this time who is the better team. I remember those two big bullishh plays that got called back: the brown int where torrey smith had his arm across browns chest and he hooked him when he caught the ball, and the teddy ginn catch that got called back for a chop block. If those two plays go differently we win that game. Just the fact it was a thursday night game on the road really put us at a disadvantage. we werent prepared for their blitzes or passrushers and as a result alex was running for his life the whole time. I think the extra prep time plus kaeps natural pocket presence and obviously his speed gives us an edge this time around. If we give up 9 sacks again we wont win this game.

It will be important to keep bowman and willis free. Vonte leach is huge and a mauler like our boy brucey but hes bigger than bowmanwillis. its going to be important for Justin and ICE to hold the point of attack and eat up blockers. I think we might give up a few big runs if our ILBs get swallowed up but I have faith in our secondary to clean up and prevent the TD. I think our redzone D will be the difference in this game because I like the way our secondary matches up with their WRs and I have faith in our DL to get stuffs in those scenarios. obviously they are going to test our secondary deep but i believe that we will make the play more often than not. Maybe we will give up one or two long passes but I also believe we will pick off flacco at least one time. Hopefully our pass rush brings its A game because flacco isnt that mobile of a QB.

On offense, just like I said last week it is important to get into rhythm early because once our offense gets rolling we extremely difficult to stop. I loved the way we got all of our playmakers involved early last week, it seemed like once we got down by 17 we made sure to get gore involved, then we threw to randy, then ran it, then threw to crabs, and then ran some more and then got vernon involved. after that first scoring drive we were able to move the ball really well for the rest of the game and I dont think we went three and out once after that but I could be wrong. by getting into rhythm I mean being aggressive and assertive and playing up tempo. I think the whole akers thing has been good for the psychy of our offense because now everyone knows we need to score TDs and we cant leave it up to chance. I think crabs will have a big game.

I have a feeling its going to be a really high scoring game. I also think we see a few fake punts and onside kicks. I would love it if we deffer and then onside kicked it right away so we get the ball to start both halfs

I also expect staley and ICE to have catches and I would LOVE LOVE LOVE to see bruce miller get 10+ touches. Obviously we are going to pull from our bag of tricks and I am just hoping that we use them at the right time. we dont need to use them super early in the game but there will be a moment when we will need to roll the dice
