It took a while, but we finally broke the trend. Sure we came out flat at first, but we came out with a victory. I'm not sure if this was deserving of it's own thread, but this is a curse that's been talked about since someone discovered it. I'm happy we broke it.

I think it is deserving of one.
Today's game had the making of the seattle game but glad the boys were able to bounce back.
Ironically, it was the running game behind Gore that got us back in the game on offense. I was surprised to see that Kaep only threw 21 passes.

We took our loss in the first sixteen minutes of the game. Then added our first win to the next cycle. Look for us to win next week, lose week one of next year's regular season (have to adjust for the preseason, guys), and the trend to continue as usual. It's science.

This wasn't the only 3rd time curse that was broken yesterday. Yesterday's game was also the first time in three shots that Jim Harbaugh has won a championship game. He had lost two previously, one as Colts QB and one as 49ers coach, both very narrowly right at the end. But the 3rd time he won it...very narrowly and right at the end.
Curses are made to be broken. |
