I dont understand this, why wouldnt the Jags want to coach these prospects at the Senior Bowl and get first-hand info on these guys?

Like I said, I still think we should have volunteered to do so |
And if we had waited to interview Roman before making our decision, who would have been coaching up the kids all this upcoming week? It's really unfair to all those kids trying to get drafted and improve their stock for the team to accept a job we had no idea whether we'd have been able to do.

I guess so, I'm just really upset we missed out on a great opportunity to get some real time with these prospects, with a pick that high, I really want to make sure we do everything possible

Their isn't a prospect we are picking at number 2 in the Senior Bowl.
It would help some for pick 33 but, it's really not that big of a deal.

I'm pretty sure it's offered to the head coach and his staff, not necessarily the organization.
Regardless, with a brand new coaching staff and front office, I'd prefer they get acclimated with the team and city before taking on all the extra responsibility for an event they will be attending anyway.

Pretty much this. We've still gotta worry about all of the positional coaches and finalizing the coaching roster. Otherwise I would have jumped at the opportunity.
