So whats the timetable for his return?

It may range from 4 to 6 months

I thought it was more like a year?

Robert Griffin III, Chris Clemons weren't only ones to undergo ACL surgery with Dr. James Andrews. Packers 1st-rd pick Jerel Worthy also did

I heard it was a scope but not full ACL reconstruction. I don't really know if I trust Schefter got hs facts right.

hhhhmpppp.

I'd imagine he's going to miss most of the offseason hopefully on the field some during the preseaseon but he's a big guy, I see a PUP list probable here.

How about we get another Defensive End in the draft this year? Preferably one early

Why doesn't it surprise me that he doesn't know what round he was drafted in....

He had some sort of surgery, but judging from his Twitter account it wasn't anything too serious. He's already on vacation somewhere. For a guy coming off a supposed ACL surgery he sure seems to be having a good time.

Like I keep saying, I heard it was a minor procedure, not a full ACL reconstruction. He might miss some of the OTAs but is expected to be good to go by the start of TC.

Ya, I really don't get what the fuss is all about. Scopes like this are normal in football.

That sucks. We've had some pretty bad luck with injuries to our 1st day picks recently.

We gotta be due for a healthy year aren't we? The past 3 have been loaded with major injuries.

I took a little closer look at his Twitter posts .. Worthy is in Pensacola Fla, also the home for Dr. James Andrews clinic. Chances are he is staying at a nearby resort and doing rehab work. Perhaps he did have that supposed ACL surgery afterall.

Well, any ligament sprain is technically a tear. So you can a player has a "torn ACL" without the ligament being completely severed. It's conceivable that it was a minor tear that was discovered during a scope procedure and required relatively little work.

It's also conceivable that it was a completely severed ligament and required a graft, they don't tell us this sort of thing.
