it's funny how i picked the giants to go all the way and win the SB and before the playoffs last year and i picked the ravens this year and there in the SB wish i was a betting man.

No dilemna in my mind. While I like Birk as a player, he is no Randy Moss. Moss has played a key role in creating two of the best teams ever that didn't win a Super Bowl. I'd love to see him finally get a ring.
At the same time, I wouldn't mind seeing Ray Lewis go riding into the sunset with a Super Bowl win either.

I was halfway right when I said San Fran would make the Superbowl back in the preseason. Houston was my other pick. 
Hats off to both teams. They both did a great job to get to the Superbowl.
Again, a strong defense and a good run game helped get them where they are. Of course both have done a good job throwing the ball, but that is only factor into their success.
People seem to forget that it takes more than just the QB to win. Where is Tom Brady? Peyton Manning? Eli Manning? Drew, Ben, Aaron? etc.

I love Moss for all he did for us but the big thing is that Ray Lewis is a scumbag. I do not want to see him win a Super Bowl as his going out party.

That is harsh. Its obvious that Lewis is a changed individual and he is one of the most respected players in league history. The guy is a definition of a leader and his the heart and soul of the Ravens defense. |

I personally don't believe that he has changed at all. We have recently seen how one individual can use the media as smoke and mirrors. I think that lesson should be applied for everybody that you cannot always believe what the media tells you.
I respect all that he has done on the football field but I don't like him off the field. The only player I like less than Lewis is Jon Vilma.
If the Ravens win the SB, it leaves a little less sour of a taste in my mouth than when the Saints won it.

| I am rooting for Randy to get his ring, I have been wanting to see Randy get a ring for all the years he did for the Vikings and he deserves it, I hope he will finally get a ring at last and it might be his last chance to win a ring before his retires for good so I hope he gets it! |

You can say that about any person in sports as we are not in their lives and have no idea what they are doing. That being said for all he has done on the football field and him being my favorite defensive player I hope he gets his ring. Plus he beat the patriots and to me they are the real scumbags.

he caught a couple of catches yesterday. I think he also caught a huge 3rd down in the game.
