That may be a bit premature. But I was just wondering if anyone could find any news on who is interviewing other than Castillo. It's been pretty quiet on that front since his intiial interview. But there has to be someone else in the running too, I would think. _________________

I posted this in the ST coach thread because the subject came up:

Not really..I mean it seems like we won't be running ZBS and Castillo is a ZBS coach. |
I've read Olson uses a PBS scheme. I've also read he uses a ZBS. I've also read he uses both. So I suppose we'll just have to wait and find out. |
Not sure how this affects our roster and OL coaching search. But it probably does in some capacity _________________

That's what makes this hire so potentially interesting.
And the staff is on its way to the Senior Bowl. I know in years past that coaches go there looking for jobs. So it is very possible that with tons of coaches down in Mobile, the team's focus will also be on interviewing candidates. What better place to do it with everyone down there. _________________

I wouldn't mind that one bit. The only issue I have with Tice is that he bounces around alot.
And then there is this:

They are in good hands temporarily. Hudson was one of my favorite players from the Jameel Holloway/Boz years for the sooners. _________________

Was Tice OC or OL coach for the Bears? Because their line has sucked something awful that past few seasons. _________________

Well they had horrible players 1st off and then when they had serveral injuries to their already crappy line he was able to get the most out of them which is why teams were interviewing him as a HC last season before he was promoted to OC in CHI. |

Hmmmm, he did have garbage to work with but some of the games out of the OL were horrid to watch. I remember one game where Cutler or a backup got absolutely thrashed like 6 or 7 times in 2011-2012. Tice does have some past success but I'm not a big fan of his. Never really have been. I'd give him the benefit of the doubt if he was hired though. _________________

It's funny that people want lovie here in place of Allen, as if he'd hire a better OC or something. _________________

| Bob Wylie was a great O-line coach under Hue Jackson. He didn't coach in 2012, shame. |

Shouldn't Greg Olsen be the one finding coaches for his offense? _________________

Juan Castillo is a PBS. Eagles was a ZBS under Mudd. _________________
