Every year we hear TT is talking to player X, or Packers scout talking to player Y. Post what you find in here and we'll track it all. At the end of the draft we'll revisit the thread and see how we did. Normally we hit on 3-4 picks. Lets see if we can get 5-6 this year. Starting it off with this one:
| @DraftCountdown wrote: | | Just saw #Packers GM Ted Thompson scoop up #KansasState LB Arthur Brown to get some information. |
| @DraftCountdown wrote: | | #Packers GM Ted Thompson is chatting up #Oregon OL Kyle Long, who is the son of Howie and brother of Chris. #Raiders #Rams #Ducks |

Sources told WalterFootball.com that the Jets, Packers and Saints were showing a lot of interest in Michael. Green Bay general manager Ted Thompson was really watching Michael closely in practice. |
| DraftCountdownBlog wrote: | | Massive Georgia NT John Jenkins is an easy guy to spot and I’ll be interested to see what he weighs in at tomorrow after being listed at 358 pounds on the official roster. At one point Jenkins was joking around with Packers GM Ted Thompson and an unidentified Bears employee and the table of Krispy Kreme doughnuts were mentioned followed by a round of laughs. |

| Who are the best Twitter follows for this stuff? I follow mostly GB beat writers so I am sure they won't have this info. |

Odd. I love Arthur Brown, but have him pegged as a 4-3 only prospect... _________________

Was unaware that Kyle was Howie's son... I think I like him more now.

Only two guys I've seen really tweeting which teams players are talking to. _________________

Packers were looking at the LBs from the West team at the Shrine Game
Probably AJ Klein or Hollowman
Regional scout was looking at DJ Fluker
Apparently we're interested in Christine Michael. |

A lot of people had Terrell Manning pegged as a 4-3 LB too. I'm wondering if the interest here is based on the fact that he's got the speed to be a pass rusher, but the agility to step back in coverage. I just hope he could step in and contribute in some fashion rather than be a project player.
I've read up on Brown a bit. I think he'd be worth a 4th or 5th round pick; just like Manning. |

Grrr Arthur and Bryce and two massive traitors in my book. "Oh yeah brother, lets go to Miami and make history." Mehhh, love their game though. Arthur had a real hard time fitting in a Miami, honestly, Green Bay would be the perfect place for him to maximize his skill set. Would love that pick up _________________

He'd work better in a 3-4? Hard to tell with certain ILB's. _________________

You haven't read up enough then. He's going in the first two rounds. _________________

I kind of meant mentally. His ceiling is through the flibbin roof if his head is in the right place. That whole family is just a little strange, hes been around them his whole life. I remember his dad thought Bryce was suppose to be an Early Entry at Miami, only to back out of the entire thing and commit to UT very late in the process. And Miami was just not the best place for Arthur. There isnt a better place in the NFL for player to find himself mentally and hone those mental skills towards there game better than Green Bay. I feel Arthur could really really benefit from playing here. And trust me, Arthur Brown can play anywhere. _________________

I see. I've heard good things about him. Barely seen him play. _________________
