Your offensive coordinator is way more important then your ST coach. |

Reggie did say in his interview that coaches were on the way soon. So we should be looking forward to seeing a linebacker coach in the next week too. What else do we need besides that?
And is it just me or is this the fastest that we have ever seen our staff filled out? _________________

Honestly whoever our oline coach is will be huge. Whatever we run we need to have a great coach too run our line. |

It is one thing I like about both new hires, both have a good amount of NFL coaching . _________________

Mike Bloomgreen from Stanford would be nice. I read he has been getting NFL coaching opportunities. I guess it's with the Colts though. And April is a good hire, we obviously need to improve our starting field position next season. _________________

Especially with so much youth in that group. You've got 2nd year Bergstrom and Nix with 3rd year Wiz. And if we add a rookie RT or another OG we will possibly have the youngest OL in the league. This hire is definitely HUGE. _________________

Agreed and to the bold, this is the first step, the next will be fielding a defense that can actually create a turnover or two.
EDIT: I didn't realize we were only -7 in the differential. That's not terrible considering we didn't force many turnovers. Good to know the offense didn't turn it over as much as some make it seem. _________________

And we were rated 5th in the league in terms of giving up sacks. Not too shabby considering we struggled so much in the run game and had to throw the ball so much. _________________

Is it telling that we interviewed Castillo and he hasn't been hired? _________________

Not really..I mean it seems like we won't be running ZBS and Castillo is a ZBS coach. |

I've read Olson uses a PBS scheme. I've also read he uses a ZBS. I've also read he uses both. So I suppose we'll just have to wait and find out. _________________

Bobby April was the best special teams coach in the NFL with his time with us. Nice hire. _________________
