General Manager Signup Thread

Welcome to FFMD '13. Please us this thread to volunteer for the position of General Manager. Before volunteering to lead a team, please make sure you review: The Rules of FFMD '13 and let me know if you have any questions.

General Managers must also follow these additional rules (copied from FFMD-12):

*Any GM that breaks forum rules (i.e. gets a warning by a moderator) during FFMD '13 will be removed from their position on their team's staff. This holds true for any infraction, whether related or unrelated to the mock draft.
*Any GM that tries to take over his team entirely and does not involve the other members of his staff will be warned, then removed as GM if he does not comply. Remember, this is designed to be a fun event for the entire staff of your team, not just for you. Fun is more important than competition, strategy or realism.
*If a GM does not show up for the first couple of days and set up his war room, he may be removed as GM. If a GM goes inactive at any other time for an extended period without a viable explanation, he may be removed as GM.
*If you believe a GM is ignoring his staff's advice, has gone away for an extended period of time without explanation, or is being rude or disrespectful, send a PM to me or the FFMD '13 Liaison for your division and it will be addressed.

General Manager Responsibilities

It is the responsibility of the General Manager to keep and update a FFMD HQ thread. This thread must contain the following Information:

1. A link to the forum rules Listed Here

2. A list of all staff including AGM and Capologist

3. A link to the FFMD '13 rules thread thread.

4.*optional* A list of any “trade block” players including specific pick value (For draft day trades)

Additionally, the GM should include any important links, such as draft and free agency threads. Failure to complete your war room in a reasonable amount of time will result in replacement.

How To Sign Up

To volunteer to be a General Manager- please respond to this post in the following way:

This thread is not for general discussion, chats or responses. Please only post the above. Signups for the FFMD '13 GM positions will run from 1/19/2013 to 1/25/2013 at 10:00 PM- GM positions will be announced within 24 hours and the GM's must then complete the following steps:

1. Create a War Room and Post a link to that war room
2. Decide upon a Assistant General Manager
3. Decide Upon a Capologist
4. Post a link to your War Room as well as to the profiles of both the AGM and Capologist in this thread.
5. Complete the remainder of your staff as you and your forum see fit.
