That's because it's not even close to reality. The guy is low key and mild mannered. Most actually describe him as shy and reserved.
As far as this alleged assault, I don't think it'll amount to much. If the DA thought it was something, Crabtree would not have been allowed to leave the state. I'm guessing this is a money grab given his past and his overall demeanor. |

Thats because its not true. People only say that because of his hold out when he was a rookie.
As for the topic, I hope it's not true. He's finally turning into a legit #1 and has been by far the 49ers best pass catcher. Definitely terrible timing considering his team is one game away from the SB.

its been a week and no arrest. possible there's a lack of conclusive physical evidence?
he's also expected to play in sunday's game so obviously they're letting him go out of state.
too early to say either way. from a football standpoint, i wonder what his attitude will be as he plays through this accusation. This kind of thing will weigh on a person, even if it isn't true. |

Dangerous precedent to set. If he's innocent a false accusation can remove a player from a game, especially a Playoff game? I don't like it. If there's a bunch of evidence against him right now, fine sit him. But if they are still looking and don't have anything you have to let the guy play.

They let him out of state and he will play Sunday. He is also cooperating with them. If there was damning evidence SVU would have to keep him in state. It seems like things will be alright but this does no good for the team.

Chris Cook was demoted to never being active despite not being proven guilty of anything. This innocent until proven guilty thing doenst apply to the NFL. |
