Ware is the Jordan of our defense. Spencer our Pippen.
Injured or not Ware was the top priority of opposing offenses, not Spencer. |

I would agree. Ware was still seeing double teams even with one arm. Unreal really. _________________

Good for Spencer and his family. He is going to get paid. Hopefully not by us though, as it always makes me nervous when a guy is pedestrian his whole career and then decides to give it his all when money is on the line. This looks like a classic case of "eating the carrot" once he gets a big contract. I'll take my chances with a young draft pick. _________________

I swear Spencer could donate all of his career earnings to charity and this board would still hate him. _________________

I'm not surprised he did well this year when it's a contract year/audition for other teams. He earned his bread this year until he gets his money and back to the way he was before. _________________

Ware - despite numerous injuries throughout - was as good or better in every facet of the game than Spencer with the lone exception being MAYBE defending the read option ( Ware struggled but Spencer wasn't very good either ) _________________

Except its purely perception that he's been "pedestrian" and solely based on sacks while ignore pressure, run and pass defense. The only difference between this year and the last 2-3 is that 4 or so pressures turned into sacks which could have everything to do with having a split second longer due to better corners _________________

How'd Ware even get brought up when he earned a Pro Bowl trip anyway? _________________

Did he? I missed it apparently. Haven't really paid attention but thought he was overlooked. Maybe that was the all-pro list
That being said - how the frick did Eli make the Pro Bowl after his abysmal season - while solid the first few games he was absolutely terrible the second half. Nearly the mirror image of Romo _________________
