Are you a little bitter?
Probably doesn't help that there was a Pop Warner team playing on the other side of the ball. Hard to have success when your offense can't stay on the field.
With the talent the Bears have on D, Tucker should be able to have a lot more success. Especially if our offense lives up to Trestman's standards.

I was just saying......I have no doubt that he'll have success with the great D that Chicago already has. Jax was plagued by injuries.

I heard they wanted to keep Marinelli but he wanted to move on from the Bears because he is Lovie's BFF. |

We went from the 6th rated defenses in 2011 to the 30th in 2012. Sometimes when a team gets in a funk you just have too flush the whole building in order to get the smell out. I'm sad that Mel had too get flushed he's a great up and coming coach who I expect will have great success in Chicago. Enjoy him while he's around bear's fans I expect he will be a HC in a year or two.

I think he is a far better coach than our defense made him look this year. Injuries certainly didn't help matters. I wish him success in the future. |

From everything I have read, players love to play for Mel Tucker. I just have never been impressed with his X's and O's personally.

I called this last year that the Jags defense being so good in 2011 was most likely an anomaly, they werent ever THAT good and it wasnt sustainable.
I like the Tucker hiring though for the Bears, he is a quality coach. |
