We need a #2 CB.
Buster Skrine will be fine as a #3 CB. You can get any random dude as a #4z _________________

| This is easily the best coaching staff we have since our return. Here's to hoping we draft well to implement them. QB is the biggest question at the end of the day, it'll be hard to get to the playoffs without one |

| If chud somehow doesn't work out for some reason I can see Horton stepping in as HC. But I hope it doesn't come to that |

| Perhaps someone can clarify... if his contract is for four years, what does that mean for his potential to leave after one? Do most coordinators have out clauses if they get offered a HC position, or do the Browns have to grant permission for people to interview him because he's under contract with them? |

If I had to guess with that type of money theres probably a clause that'll keep him here at least 2 years then after that he'll be open to leave for a head coaching position. But I have to imagine they knew what they were getting into hiring such a talented guy. _________________

if he uses this hybrid defense like some ppl say he could...it could put our defense into a good situation.
It be great to see Sheard in a hybird role kinda and the Browns drafting a LB with their 1st
you see a DL going Wynn, Phil, Rubin, Sheard...they than do a quick shift to a 3-4. Wynn and Rubin can handle playing 2gap DEs. Phil as a NT and Sheard dropping back as a OLB and the rookie playing the other OLB and she the Browns shifting in and out of 3/4-4/3 defenses. that would be nice. have plays that look like a 3/4 defense but they play it like a 4/3 an vice versa _________________

Dan Williams barely saw the field for Arizona, but it wasn't because he wasn't any good or anything. Assuming he uses the same scheme with Cleveland, expect much of the same. And a-gap blitzes. Oh man, how he loves himself some a-gap blitzes. |
I like this a lot. It really caters to what we have atm |
Not the "5" part. We have Haden, Ward, and who are the other 3? If we keep Brown, then who are the other 2? |
I originally thought DRC would be an immediate possibility because of Horton... then I realized DRC never played for Horton in Arizona _________________

First, I hope he is locked into a multi year contract.
Second, I hope he is allowed to pull in a couple FAs and draft picks to make his defense work.
Lastly, I hope he shaves that stupid hair cut. _________________

I like the haircut, makes him look like an OG. Like KRS-One or something. |

Great hire. |
Arians didn't have a lot of choice. horton was pissed at missing out and that could cause trouble with the players if things start bad next season. _________________
