I really like the hires they've made. With a good offseason, I think they could be a darkhorse wildcard contender. _________________

It depends on how much production they get out of the QB position. _________________

Umm no... I like the coaching staff the Browns put together, but lets not get ahead of ourselves here. _________________

I was being hyperbolic.
This was to counter the Lombardi thread, in which everyone said that they were going to have the #1 pick. _________________

Says the guy with Todd Haley as the OC... I hear yinz are still upset about Brucey leaving town. _________________

Dude, our DC has more swag than any coach in the league with those corn rows. Plus Trent Richardson eats babies for breakfast.
We'll win the Superbowl in 2015. After we win it in 2014. Mark it dude. _________________

Horton will probably do wonders with the talent there of Haden, Ward, Shread, Taylor, and Jackson. Then go off to be a head coach the following year but hey, at least he'll get them playing some great ball next year. |

I have absolutely no reason to hate the Browns... I was born in 1988. Other than the 2002 and 2007 seasons they've never been a threat to me. So I'd rather they actually be competitive because I feel bad for you guys.
I just think the OC who failed to utilize his Halfbacks until they were out of the post-season hunt and kept running his QB isn't going to be a good head coach. Norv Turner runs a lot of vertical routes which suits your young talent such as Gordon but these two combined scream doom for Richardson(who I was never high on to begin with). Finally, Horton is more of a hunch. You guys certainly have lots of talent in Taylor, Sheard, Haden and Ward. But I just have a hunch. Call it crazy. _________________

Uh... Todd Hailey took a Top 10 QB and turned him into unquestionably a top 6 QB all without a viable running back on the depth chart and a bevy of offensive line injuries... Norv Turner got Phillip Rivers destroyed. _________________

Every OC is bashed on here except the guy who can't get a job as a OC or stay as a OC more than a season, Hue Jackson.
With Horton, the Cardinals had more talent on defense and were never a elite unit. _________________

ok your comments about Norv...you said his vertical offense are good but it screams doom for Richardson? I remember seeing Norv turner using LT pretty damn well. He used Frank Gore pretty damn good his lone year in Sanfran. With the Raiders he had pathetic talent at the RB position. Ricky Williams had a great two year run with Norv. Norv turner has a track record of using RBs just fine.
I think your hunch just my be constipation... _________________
