Yeah, it was confirmed by a league source. Nice though for depth purposes. Don't think we bring back Jones though.

Good special teams player though, and someone who can fill in for a bit if a starter is unavailable for whatever reason. I'm glad to have him. |

hes one of our better special teams player great to have him back. Hes good at what hes paid for, and can backfill the linebacker spots.
We signed our 1st free agent!

Good depth for T.C., if he makes the team hopefully it's because he improved a lot. |

I am not debating that. Again, I just hope he never has to see the field and if he gets beat out in camp, chances are it is because they found a better player. I would love the better player! |

Not exciting but a guy you have to bring back when the value is there. Experienced depth and special teams for likely the minimum.

Every team needs roleplayers and that is what he is. As stated before, he is a good special teams contributor. I also didn't think he was that bad in the few instances that he got PT on defense either. We have definitely seen worse than him.

Only he created more turnovers in his two starts than AJ Hawk did in 2008, 2009, 2011 and 2012 combined. Francois is our best ST player, good to have him back.

I think you guys are all wrong about Francois. He's a great special teamer, but I also think the guy has some good defense in him. Love his aggressive instincts. Starter? Probably not, but the coaches have spoken really highly of his ability more than once.. and his agent said the coaches told him the best linebackers will play when discussing contract. Probably nothing, but just saying.

I kinda hopes he takes hawk's job, more athletic, much longer, better accel, big bodied and better in coverage.
