When Leino had success in Philly the players next to him had a similar skill set to the ones he will play with on the third line in Ott and Girgs. I hope Leino turns out to have a great year. I'm hopeful he reaches that potential we hoped he would have when we signed him.

This team can make some noise if they come together, I just don't think Ruff has it in him to bring these players together in crunch time.

Still boycotting the NHL this year, 2nd time they did this in my lifetime and no matter who wins the cup this year, their will be an asterisk next to it.

Max you can't deny if the Sabres won you would still be incredibly happy lol.

We are all on an even playing field so what's the difference?

Maybe part of it is that I play hockey too, and I wouldn't know because I am trying like hell to not know anything about hockey this year.

I am very bitter, I moved to a city this year that was supposed to have the All-Star game, super pumped. Now because the NHL was a bunch of *expletives* not only will they not have it this year, they won't have it next year either because of the Winter Olympics. So 2015 the earliest, so yes, very bitter

There won't be an asterisk. There isn't one for the rangers cup win.

I can't wait for the season to start. I'm a huge hockey fan. I've played since i was 7 . It looks like the sabres are going to have a scary good team sooner rather than later.

Sabres had 2 awesome periods and the Vanek / Hodgson / Pominville line was FLYING .. A quick start is imperative especially with Toronto next.

This team excites me the most since 2007 Laughing

Hope you guys crush the leafs tonight.

As for boycotting the season, I understand it. At the 100th Grey cup game this year, a fan had a sign that said..

"100 years, Zero lockouts"

I thought it was great, but also felt bad for all my hockey friends.

It's a shame Miller didn't get that shut out because he played lights out that whole game.
