well, I hope Turner has given that he had to play against Weeden. But as to Chud or speaking to him, who knows.

I just saw a brief clip from Chud, and he did say that he has already spent time with Weeden.

based on what?

I'm not really sure what the answers are but I thought it was worth noting as I was wondering myself.

Going back to Banner's announcement of the Lombardi hire, JB said ML "had changed", and presumably THAT change was a factor in the hire...

Not ONE member of the media asked "changed from WHAT?" Doesn't it get your spidey sense tingling as to what were his issues...

Well, these's always this possibility...

Quote:
Former Oakland Raiders quarterback Jamarcus Russell is hoping to make a return to the NFL.

Seriously.

Despite still weighing 308 pounds, the former first round pick believes he can make a return to the league. Russell has been working out for the last six weeks in an attempt to get back in shape and return to the football field for the first time since 2009.

You means besides the 155/255 (60.8%) for 1875 yards (7.4 YPA) 9TDs 5 INTs 87.0 rating against the Ravens , Bengals , Giants, Colts, Cowboys, Raiders, and Broncos.

Not sure how people just ignore this.

While its possible we are moving on from him, Chud did say one of the first things he did was had a long conversation with Brandon.

I think by trying to avoid the questions they are either

A.) Not commiting to him in case they would like to bring in competition for him.

B.) Not commenting because they don't want to tip their hand in any way whatsoever regarding the draft.

C.) Completely moving on from him.

IMO its either A or B.

I agree with that. I would also add another likely possibility.

D.) They sincerely don't want to comment on players they know little about and are now responsible for since they just really don't know exactly how an inexperienced player will fit with their goals.

And seriously, why do so many just ignore Weeden's road games?

Eagles bring in Tom Gamble to be VPPP.

So they got Chip Kelly and Gamble
We got Chud and Lombardi...

This one should be fun to track.

Shurmer as OC and Billy Davis as DC negates any positive move they make.
