3. Lance Briggs
4. Henry Melton
5. Tim Jennings
6. Corey Wootton
7. Brian Urlacher

From the other thread
1. Tillman
2. Melton
3. Briggs
4. Pep
5. TJ
6. Lach
7. Roach
8. Paea
9. Wright
10. Conte
11. Wootton (Wootton could conceivably jump up the #3 this year if he becomes what I think he might) _________________

Based on 2012 alone:
1. Lance Briggs
2. Henry Melton
3. Charles Tillman
4. Tim Jennings
5. Julius Peppers
6. Israel Idonije
7. Corey Wootton
8. Nate Collins
9. Chris Conte
10. DJ Moore
11. Major Wright
12. Stephen Paea
13. Nick Roach
14. Shea McClellin
15. Geno Hayes
16. Brian Urlacher
Pretty D-line heavy in the top ten. Nate Collins not getting his due in this thread because QB disruptions don't show on a standard stat sheet unless they're sacks. |

Really? | People are not understanding just how poor he was against the run this year. I hope very much that he comes back 100%, because we need better play in the middle and I'm not sure that it's even available in the draft this year. His pass coverage was good, at least, but he missed a tackle in every 4.9 attempts. That's the second-worst tackling percentage in the league. Only Bart Scott was worse. |

Nate Collins not getting his due in this thread because QB disruptions don't show on a standard stat sheet unless they're sacks. | TBH Collins didn't get any love from me b/c he's a rotational player and I was ranking by most valuable, but I pay a lot of attn to Pressures, and more importantly, pressures/pass rush. Collins has been a flat out beast (against the pass) in his limited snaps, the coaches couldn't keep this guy off the field. He needs to learn some gap discipline tho against the run) This guy could be trade bait in another year. At this point he's leverage in contract negotitations w/ Melton _________________

He was so bad this year. I don't even think he gets resigned honestly. Despite in a year us having next to zero DB's under contract. He was constantly a liability. He would probably be around 15-20 for me. _________________

The Bears #1 draft pick in 2012 and no one mentions him?
Shea McClellin
Is he a good pick or draft bust? _________________ "I have to keep playing so people over 40 will have somebody to root for on Sunday afternoons." George Blanda who played until he was 46 |
