Mike Silver of Yahoo! Sports reports that Horton is out as the Arizona defensive coordinator. Per Silver, he’ll be replaced by former Eagles defensive coordinator Todd Bowles on Bruce Arians’ staff.

I'm all for it. He interviewed for three teams' coaching vacancies. Although he ran a 3-4 with the Cardinals, I'm not sure if that excludes him from successfully running a 4-3. The best part about hiring him as DC would be that we'd have a good front runner for HC if Munchak falters next year.

Yes. I agree. Fully. It would slightly make up for the offseason thus far.

For that reason Munchak wouldn't want him.

Munch will not hire his potential replacement in Horton. I would love to see him take Gray's spot. Oh well..looks like this year will be a wash again. Rolling Eyes

Would love for this to happen but looking at Munch's hires so far he's insulating himself with friends / guys he's familiar with. So doubt he brings in a guy who could push for his job (even if it could save his with a winning record).

I've done my part in making this dream a reality. I tweet CJ telling him to tell coach this needs to happen as well as Alex Munchak to tell pops to go do it. Everyone should follow suit.

Blazed and Wilky -

Your avatars are over the size limit for this site. I sent you a PM with a link to a correctly sized one (same picture you currently have). Let me know if you have trouble changing them.

Thanks!

As for the topic at hand, I just don't think the front office believes Gray finished the season poorly enough to be replaced. Sure we gave up 40 and 50 during the year, but they're going to look at the Jacksonville game and assume he deserves another year.

That said, I'd be very happy if they replace him. I haven't been impressed either.

Sucks to hear that he got signed by the browns... Which was a good moved by them. They need a better coaching staff.
