I thought this was given after Mike McCoy took the Chargers job over the Cardinals. The Cardinals had pinned all their hopes on McCoy and it seemed they really only considered Arians and Darrell Bevell.
I kind of feel bad for Arians. I don't think they will keep Kolb though they should. The OL stinks to high heaven and their RBs have been disappointing. But they do have Larry Fitzgerald. |

Looks pretty darn close to a done deal. Good for Bruce Arians. He got his HC gig that he wanted so dearly. He did a great job managing this team in tragedy this year, and he will always have my respect for this year.
I really, really hope the Colts don't go and promote Clyde now.. _________________ Building The Monster |

Grigson did say the other day that he has a contingency play for interviewing replacements if Arians did get the job. And I'm sure Christiansen will be considered. Hopefully only that far though. |

I actually don't think he did a bad job in the Baltimore game. How much of that was his actual game-plan, we will never know.. but I'm willing to bet BA designed quite a bit of it.
The proof is in the pudding with Clyde. He's been a train wreck everywhere he has had power. _________________ Building The Monster

Was double checking the timeline for Arians,
-Jan 20, 2012 - Steelers release statement that Arians' informed them of his retirement.
-Jan 22-25th 2012 - Arians releases statement that he was forced out of Pittsburgh when Art Rooney told him his contract wouldn't be renewed
-Jan 25th 2012 - Colts name Chuck Pagano as HC
-Jan 28th 2012 - Colts name Arians OC
-Oct 1st 2012 - Colts announce Arians will be interim HC in lieu of Pagano during his absence. |

| If the opponents list I posted a couple weeks ago stays as is, then the Colts will host both Manning/Broncos and Arians/Cardinals next year |

We should try bidding on the services of Hue Jackson immediately. He is the best OC option available in my opinion. _________________

I think the Saints said he won't leave, but I was really interested in Carmichael.
I think some choices (because of connections) that Grigson has probably thought about:
Marty Mornhinweg, Pep Hamilton and like mentioned, Hue Jackson. _________________ Building The Monster |

Please don't steal Pep. He's also the favorite for the Jets job. _________________

COLTS O. could have some pep to it this fall. |
Looks like a pretty sure deal he is headed to work with his old QB. _________________ Building The Monster |

Congrats and best wishes to Arians on getting the Arizona job. Looking at that roster he'll need all the luck in the world. _________________ Why, if it isn't my old friend, Mr. McGreg. With a leg for an arm and an arm for a leg. |

He needs to send Larry to Indy for us. One last favor.
