Why? Because Sanchez sucked? I think that says more about Sanchez than it does Cavanaugh.
Fact of the matter is that we as fans rarely have any idea how poorly/successful position coaches are.

I'd love Singletary as our LB coach. Nothing else. He'd bring some tenacity to this defense and obviously knows how to play the position. |

He knew how to play it, but by all accounts hasn't been able to coach it. No thanks on Singletary.
