Why? Because Sanchez sucked? I think that says more about Sanchez than it does Cavanaugh.

Fact of the matter is that we as fans rarely have any idea how poorly/successful position coaches are.

I'd love Singletary as our LB coach. Nothing else. He'd bring some tenacity to this defense and obviously knows how to play the position.

He knew how to play it, but by all accounts hasn't been able to coach it. No thanks on Singletary.
