Figured we can start a new thread on the coaching staff hires that should be coming rapidly.
So far we have hired
Aaron Kromer(OC/OL)
Joe DeCamillis(ST)
and now
Skip Peete(RB)
Clarence Hill @clarencehilljr
Former Cowboys running back coach Skip Peete has accepted the same position with the Chicago Bears.

| Skip Peete was the RB coach in Oakland when Trestman was there much like Kromer...he is getting the old band back together lol...wouldn't shock me if he made a run at Jay Norvell who is at Oklahoma right now. |

A lot of praise for Jon Hoke in the last couple of days.
Could someone give me a quick synopsis of his ability and philosophy on defense? Is he very much a disciple of Marinelli/Lovie in four man pressure and cover 2 shell?
Hopefully our defense doesn't lose it's identity and if hiring Hoke provides that continuty, I think it's probably for the best.

He has. He often gets criticized for not developing anyone behind him, but frankly how many decent 2/3 RB’s are there really in the league. Nothing to write home about, and nothing to yell at the Front office about either. If he knows your coach then getting everything synched should be fairly easy and thus a decent move.
