I'm okay if they get this deal done. Pete still has his system here and there are people who can step in and keep the machine going.
Good luck to Gus, I hope he succeeds as a head coach. _________________ “They were threatened by my intelligence and too stupid to know that’s why they hated me.”

Luckily Gus is very replaceable, given the great defensive staff that we have on the team.
Good luck to him, I think that he will be a better HC than DC. _________________

I see Gus Bradley as an emotional leader that the players respond to, but I don't necessarily think he has a great defensive mind like a Rex Ryan.
I am now worried about who will be filling his role. I don't assume we can easily promote someone within the organization. We need someone that can take full advantage of this defense and make it the undeniable #1 defense in the NFL. |

In terms of replacing Gus, apparently Dan Quinn (our old D-Line coach) is a potential option (per Adam Schefter).
Quinn was probably responsible for coaching up Big Red and he made the 2012 Florida Gators defense really good this year.
From what I've read so far, I would like to have Quinn take over the Hawks D. He would fix up our D-Line and he calls an aggressive D. _________________

| Quinn sounds perfect considering our D-line is the weakness. I hear he may get offers from the Jaguars as well. Does he want to come into a low expectation scenario where he can turn a unit around, or does he want to come into a situation where only the #1 defense will be a success for him. |

I imagine that the Seahawks would be his most desired location (if Pete is serious about hiring him). He has coached on the Hawks before and knows the vets like Clem, Bane and Big Red. Along with the talent on defense and the aggressive style of the 2012 Florida Gators, he will be a great fit. _________________

Coaching itself is easily replaceable and with all this talent, we don't need a great coach, besides, that's Pete's best side to work with.
His leadership and motivation is what will be missed. Apparently he gave a great halftime speech that all players listened in on, not just the defense. _________________

Best of luck. Seems like a great players coach. Hope he can find himself a good QB and succeed at Jacksonville. _________________

This is a good hire for the Jags but i felt sometimes he really messed up on D he blew 3 games off of memory this Falcons one was just awful two plays to get in FG range. _________________
