Not sure if it's worth its own thread or even confirmed, but Rotoworld is reporting Jedd Fisch has been hired as OC.

Quote:
Jaguars hired Jedd Fisch as offensive coordinator.

The Miami Hurricanes' offensive coordinator and QBs coach, Fisch will be returning to the NFL after two years in the college ranks. Fisch worked with new Jaguars coach Gus Bradley in 2010 in Seattle, serving as Pete Carroll's QBs coach. Still only 36 years old, Fisch has nine years of NFL experience. He beat out in-limbo Saints OC Pete Carmichael for the job. Jan 19 - 9:06 AM

Fisch guided Miami's last two quarterbacks to record-setting numbers. Worked with #jaguars coach Bradley in Seattle before taking UM OC job

Miami fans are extremely upset with this so, should be good. He's great with qbs so that's a plus.

I like that he has taken some positives out of Pete Carroll and applied them to how he wants to shape Jax (in particular, speed and competition).

He's also talked about bringing over the LEO and the mix of 4-3 and 3-4 (4-3 under).

I like Fisch, but Babich was tried at DC in Chicago a couple years back and seemingly didn't do well. Perhaps since it has some of Bradley's stuff he'll do well. Meh.

NOW WE HAVE TO WAIT FOR MORE NEWS. BOO.

Yeah. Just looked at his time with the Bears. Very middle of the pack-ish. And they got much better the year he stepped back into the LB coach role.

ehhh.
