| Congrats on beating my team the Houston Texans, good luck to you in the rest of the playoffs. Can anyone here tell me how this guy has played for N.E. in the years he's been here? Is he worth pursuing in FA? Injury history, 1 gap player or traditional 2 gap player, athletic or slow? Thanks. |

| Never lived up to the potential. He had time cracking rotation. |

He kept getting hurt and was just overall inconsistent. Some moments he'd look like he could be a solid contributor others he looked like he didnt belong in the league. _________________

He got cut this season because the time he's been in there for Wilfork, teams had success running on us especially through the middle. _________________

Ron Brace is terrible.
Huge bust of a 2nd rd pick.
He's just an out of shape fat guy. Always injured. Seems like he just picks up easy pay checks and then sits on the bench with an injury. _________________

Brace was a weird pick from the onset. I couldn't help but feel at the time that Belichick was so afraid of not being able to re-sign Wilfork that he took a risk on Brace as a possible insurance.
Once Wilfork was re-signed, Brace became an afterthought. He failed as a 2-gap NT and while he showed flashes at 5-technique, he just couldn't stay healthy or consistent for long enough to maintain a good number of game-day snaps.
I still think he could succeed somewhere but it's been clear for a few years that he was in Belichick's doghouse and his time was up. It wouldn't surprise me if he resurfaces as a decent role player elsewhere if he can get/stay healthy. |

The thought of having Brace instead of Wilfork just makes me shudder. _________________
