Awesome hire! My friend who is a Saints fan loves him as a coach. I'm so glad Mike Tice is gone he was a terrible Oline coach for all the accolades he was given prior to coming here. _________________

I've heard a few analysts say that Kromer is the best O Line coach in the NFL.
Really like this hire. Wonder if he keeps Bates as QB coach. They are philosophically similar. _________________

Forte should get the opportunity for 1200 yards rushing and 800 yards receiving. _________________

This is the key right here. If Charlie Garner can eclipse ~1000 yards Recieving, I would be shocked if Forte didnt as well. _________________

I am too excited for this offense right now. Oh god the things they can do.
Marshall and Jeffrey in the WCO? And Forte?
Get me a TE and we're going to hurt some people.
Bring in two OL to keep Jay upright and we're golden. _________________

Good point about the TE we desperately need one now. I wouldn't be surprised if thats our first pick. _________________

I'm a fan of both Eifert and Ertz. I think both are worth the 20th pick. _________________

Assume that we are improving the OL.
I think with the New Orleans model we are going to go big and physical at OG. _________________

Tyler Eifert and Jermon Bushrod would be a good start to where we need to go. It's hard to not feel good about our offensive potential next year, assuming this new regime is able to implement itself like we're hoping. |

Is there any way we could sign Bushrod and Vollmer? I think out line would look like:
LT Bushrod
LG Webb/Williams/Garza
C Louis
RG Carimi
RT Vollmer |

That would be investing a lot of money at the tackle spot. Signing a starting free agent tackle would probably cost a minimum of $30M. _________________ Martellus Bennet highlight video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5lP8fHN53t0 |

Great Hire
OL/Protections Expert, the Saints do not allow sacks and they throw the ball all over the yard.
Took Carl Nicks [5th round] and Jahri Evans [4th round] and turned them into 2 of the best OGs in the NFL.
Took Jurmon Bushrod [4th round Towson] and he made him a really good pass blocking LT.
HC experience this season.
How bad [inappropriate/removed] is Trestman and Emery to have the staff ready to go 4 hours after being hired. _________________

RT Vollmer | Louis has never played Center...EVER. His best position has been RG and there is no reason to move him from that spot. Webb is an OT thru and thru. Great athletic feet. His one struggle has been w/ his power step and his anchor on the bowl rush, not a good fit inside at all. So if you move Webb inside you take away his best asset, his feet, and force him to utilize his 2 greatest weaknesses. _________________
