Know this has been speculated for a while, but looks like Biggs is finally reporting it as a done deal.

An NFL source just told me #Bears will hire Marc Trestman as the next head coach. |

Marc Trestman, coach of the Montreal Alouettes, selected over #Colts OC Bruce Arians and #Seahawks OC Darrell Bevell. |
Guessing we'll hear an official announcement sometime tomorrow. Time to think about what's next.
Can he convince Marinelli to stay?
Will he want Bates to stay?
How will he go about assembling a staff after being out of the NFL in recent years?
How will he fix the OL? Will he go to a ZBS?
How does our personnel on offense fit what he wants to do? _________________ I'm a Bears fan. |

Hell of a hire. IMO the best realistic Head Coach option on the market this year.
QB Guru, Success as a Head Coach, NFL Experience, Great X's and O's guy. Tremendous coaching credentials.
Wanted Arizona to go after Marc from the get go, we never even game him a passing glance.
Great Hire. _________________ Patrick Peterson - 92 targets, 40 catches allowed, 602 yards, 6 TD's, 7 INT's

Congratulations and Happy Birthday to our new Chicago Bears Coach,
Marc Trestman.
Hopefully, next year he gets to celebrate his birthday with the Chicago Bears in the Playoffs, heading for the SuperBowl. |

I think its a great hire, and I applaud the Bears for searching high and low to find the right guy and the right fit for their organization. Goodluck fellas! _________________

I wasn't sure about the head coaching search, but then after reading the 140+ pages of the head coaching search threads... I am unbelievably excited about this hire. A lot of you made good points about other candidates... But in the end.. He was the right choice. _________________

I really hope this is the case. |
