The stand-out Bengals LT Andrew Whitworth has finally been given a ticket to Honalulu to play in this years 'Pro-Bowl', replacing the absent Bronco Ryan Clady.
Somewhat ironic that the long overlooked Whitworth gets the nod in this; arguably his least impressive season.
Thats 4 Bengals playing now, Atkins, Green, Gresham and Whitworth _________________ " I imagine that in Paul McCartneys' house, he must have a shelf with the 12+ great 'Beatles' studio albums neatly stacked. Half the NFL goes. Mostly because the 5th alternates end up going because the first selections are "hurt" (like Calvin Johnson). I find it more annoying that Whitworth has to go now. Not only was he not really chosen, but he's now opened up to the chance of injury. _________________

Agree 'J', just nice for him to get to go, even if an injury helped. Has Whit ever lined up @ RT...... ?
Has there been any serious injuries in the Pro-Bowl ? Can't think of any right now........ _________________ " I imagine that in Paul McCartneys' house, he must have a shelf with the 12+ great 'Beatles' studio albums neatly stacked. Don't usually hear anything because everyone plays at half speed.
Robert Edwards is the most prominent case. Severely screwed up his knee after his rookie season playing flag football on the beach. Finished his career after one spectacular season.
Drew Brees dislocated his elbow back in 2007 (the 2006 season).
It does happen. Just not often enough to cause them to cancel the game. _________________
