An actual free agent signing. Surprised

Here's a question for you guys. If no one wants Woodson, do you think he'd come back at the vet min (this assumes both we'd want him back at the vet min, and he would accept the vet min) or just retire?

I don't even know anymore, he was really crappy in coverage last year.

Let's call him Stu.

According to Jets fans, this will be short for Stu-pid.

The only reason I was content with him coming back was to add a bit of physicality in the box against Minnesota. He got torched against San Francisco countless times, however. The speed got to him.

Sometimes you have to move on. We like our players too much it seems. I understand the affection, but we need to move on to our youth and focus on the development of McMillan, Jennings, and hopefully a rookie.

Jets would know all about that. I'd be more inclined to trust STL's opinion though

He must have spent some time in NY...

Most Jets fans think Mulligan is awful and wanted him gone. Besides getting the QB killed a few times, he had dumb penalties and seemed confused. It seemed like players and coaches yelled at Mulligan during game days more than any other player on the team.

Mulligan rated out as a pretty good blocker last yr, so this is a good signing for depth and most importantly blocking as he takes Crabtree's role.

Speaking of FA, I just found this. Thought it'd be worth sharing:

http://www.cbssports.com/nfl/blog/clark-judge/22036401/no-need-for-packers-boss-murphy-to-explain-quiet-offseason

I do feel we missed out on a couple of the guys out there this year, but it's not like we can't find better players in the draft IMO.

Goodness, that's the best secondary in the league right there, they just need a pass rush against teams not named Packers.

Now they can focus on WR and OL in the draft

I wouldn't have minded Rashad Jennings. I forgot he was still a FA.

Okay, the nose tackle from the Steelers got away. No biggie.

But, it occurred to me recently that the Packers have never signed someone who has come in for a visit.

If the Packers sign someone they sign someone and the signing is the first we hear of it.

Is that outrageously too broad of a statement or is that almost uniformly true? I think that agents are manipulating the local media when they know they are just using Ted as a stalking horse.
