FA
WR Mike Wallace Haslam would love to take a diamond from Pittsburgh and having Wallace tutor the young speedsters we already have could truly put on playmakers in the upper echelon of receiving corps in the league.
TE Jared Cook-Cook wants to go to an offense where he can be a feature player. He doesnt know his potential at all and Chud and Norv could help him to tap into that.
ILB-Rey Maualuga-Shouldn't cost too much for us to sign him. Will bring in depth in the inside and taking another divisional opponets players. Should fit much better in a 34.
Round 1-OLB Dion Jordan Oregon- All around linebacker and physical freak. I think he could be a Aldon Smith type player if he focuses his time on pass rushing as opposed to having to cover.
Round 3-DE William Gholston Michigan State- Another athletic defender. With the new 34 defense we need down lineman who have length and get pass rush from a 5 tech.
Round 4-CB\STyrann Matheiu LSU- Horton would love to get his hands on this guy. Straight up baller and could be a force in the slot or possibly at FS.
Round 5-G Blaize Foltz TCU-Line depth can hopefully push Pinkston and Greco.
Round 6-CB Brandon McGee-A corner with more size potentially an outside guy. Has been solid in east west shrine practices.
Round 7-P Brad Wing LSU- We need a punter. _________________

I never even predicted Kizer to fail, I simply said he was an over drafted project. Now tell me that I am wrong in that regard.

not a fan of Maualuga or Jordan but if we get Gholston in the 3rd I believe that would be a total steal!!! |

Total opposite of this. Like Maualuga and Jordan. We need some athletic freaks. |

Hate 'Luga, love Jordan. I think he and Jarvis Jones will be the best DE/OLB's out of this draft _________________

Ranks 43rd out of 50 in run stop% (he must be a real thumper, huh?) - 25% + playing time.
Ranks 48th out of 53 in tackling effiency.
Ranks 44th out of 48 in coverage. Allowing one rec every 8.7 snaps.
And he ranks 24th out of 45 in pass rush productivity. |
