2011: Reed made it to the final 10 before being eliminated, Carter and Brown were eliminated in the top 15
2010: Reed made it to the final 10 before being eliminated, Carter and Brown were eliminated in the top 15
The 2013 modern-era finalists:
First year of eligibility
LT Jonathan Ogden
OG Larry Allen
DE Michael Strahan
DT Warren Sapp
Owners/Coaches/Contributors
Edward DeBartolo, Jr. (2nd time as a finalist)
Art Modell (2nd time as a finalist)
Bill Parcells (4th time as a finalist)
Players who have been finalists before

WR Cris Carter (finalist 6 of 6 eligible years)
WR Tim Brown (finalist 4 of 4 eligible years)
RB Jerome Bettis (finalist 3 of 3 eligible years)
DE Charles Haley (finalist 4 of 9 eligible years)

Out of the names you have listed that are eligible who on that list is a sure fire guy. I really dont see any name that jumps off the page that should be. Reed has paid his dues and I think this will be the year the WR gets more recognition Reed and Carter should be the top two to get in this year in my opinion. _________________

I really hope this is finally Reed's year. I've got plans to go to Canton in August if he gets in. I've been to the Hall of Fame before, but not for a ceremony or for the HOF game. It would also be cool to go for the Hall of Fame's 50th class of inductees. _________________

He'll never get in, and it's damn damn shame that he wont.
All the other guys deserve to be there, especially Carter and Ogden, but Reed should be in. A bit surprised Warren Sapp gets in but Strahan doesn't though. _________________

Andre Reed deserves to be in over Marvin Harrison and Tim Brown, period. _________________

The Hall of Fame is becoming a little bit like the Pro Bowl.
A popularity contest and a joke. _________________

The thing about the Pro Bowl is the fan vote factor. Obviously everyone has some biases, but I really don't have a big problem with the overall HOF voting process. I think they do the best that they can. _________________
