Speculation, but per the above link:
Detroit Lions: According to MLive, Lions special teams coordinator Danny Crossman will not be with the team next season. Crossman's contract was recently renewed. The Detroit News reports Crossman may be joining the Buffalo Bills staff. _________________

It's official. (Same link)
Buffalo Bills: Former Detroit Lions special teams coordinator Danny Crossman has taken the same job with the Bills. _________________

I like the hire of Crossman. Marrone is getting guys who want to work here and want to work with him. Love it. _________________

Can't say I ever paid attention to their ST play, so had no opinion. Glad to see someone is happy with this hire.
I'd like to see a well regarded quarterback coach hired before there aren't any to choose from. Anyone have some thoughts on the Chargers John Ramsdell? With Turner out the door, I would think he likely would be available. _________________

Sorry about getting plagued with Crossman guys, but I'll do the decent thing and let you guys use the sig I made when we had to suffer that affliction.

Weird fact: For 22 of the last 26 seasons (1987-2012), the Bills have only had two special teams coordinators: Bruce DeHaven and Bobby April. _________________

I am happy about the hire because he left Detroit to come here, meaning he wants to coach Buffalo. I read the other forum links you posted, I question how much talent they have for their ST squads. I think he will do just fine. _________________

That's been my initial thought as well. I'd just rather the fans were upset at his departure instead! _________________

Well, we're certainly not dragging our feet:
Buffalo Bills: Syracuse offensive line coach Greg Adkins has accepted the tight ends job in Buffalo. Here are some of the other hires: Former Rice defensive coordinator Chuck Driesbach (linebackers), Anthony Weaver (defensive line), Syracuse running backs coach Tyrone Wheatley (running backs), Towson assistant Brian Fleury (defensive quality control), Jim O'Neil (linebackers), Syracuse defensive assistant Jason Rebrovich (defensive quality control), Samson Brown (assistant defensive backs), Syracuse defensive backs coach Donnie Henderson (defensive backs), Eric Ciano (head strength coach).

So far the only coach from Gailey's staff is Strength and Conditioning Coach - Eric Ciano. _________________
