As much as I think a coach should have control of his staff, I'm glad we ende up with Chud and not Whiz. Also if we end up with Turner and Pagano as coordinators than I just might have to think "Napoleon" knows what he's doing. Not to mention these potntial hires also make it seem like our coach is choosing his own staff so I'm really not conflicted at all here.

President of the organization should always get final say on that type of hire. Otherwise, why do you need him. Kinda stupid to think that should be your block. In fact it seems that Whisenhunt was the one with the power issue.

That is a solid move tho. Head Coaches tend to like there own guys not so much tyhe best guy and they are all control freaks with the exceptions here and there.
Besides that if Wisenhunt was a great coach which he is not. He would have been able to write his own contract. |

Agreed
They are clearly more confident in Chud.
I don't know if this is a Banner power thing if that's the case.

Don't know what the big deal is.
Chud went 10 and 5 with DA
Wisenhunt couldn't do crap without a HoF Kurt Warner as QB.

I don't know why it is even a big deal if Banner does have a "power thing". After all, it comes down do the decisions he makes with his power.
Butch Davis would be a hero in Cleveland if he just made better decisions.
