Spikes is all there just like Ray Lewis is all there. He is so "all there" that he can act stupid/immature & still do what he wants at a high level. Spikes might act like a big kid, but this football IQ is sky high.

Brandon whatever his name is can obviously say whatever he wants. Whether it is realistically a wise move is certainly debatable, as the Pats were upset with the week 3 loss & obviously weren't in need of any extra motivation.

I kind of liked how blunt his tweets were though. No beating around the bush.

Yeah. Same take with regards to the week 3 loss motivation (and obviously the stakes). And same thoughts on liking the 'not beating around the bush part'... I just think he's a punk since he apologized for what he said. I say stick to your guns... I mean, I think it's dumb to expect an offense to 'wait for you' but at the same time I understand his thinking. He's one that prefers a fight to go Mano-a-mano, man to man, muscle to muscle... A tactic where the opponent tries to hurry and catch the opponent off guard is something he considers 'girly' and 'weak'.

So while I understand his arm wrestling approach to the game, I don't agree with it. But hey if that's his philosophy, then he should stick with it. Not apologize.

Flacco? Party hard?

"You think I'm gonna party hard?! C'mon bro, it's the FREAKIN' AFC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME!"

*fast forward to tomorrow morning at the Castle*

"Guys, I have no idea....what happened last night...ugh...where the hell was I? Am I alive? Why does my head feel so bald?"

*at practice*

"Dude, Ray [Rice], I feel like s***, bro...."

*after practice in the interviews*

"Ha, ha, ha, you expect me to believe I have a Fu-Man-Chu and shaved a damn spider into my head? Good one, guys! YOU GOT ME! HA! *pukes*"

*John Harbaugh's reaction*

*After Flacco herocially leads our team to victory:*

Steve: "Oh thank God! I can FINALLY pay Flacco! I was beginning to think we'd actually have to draft ANOTHER QB!"
Ray: "Yeah, and now I don't have to kill him!"

"YEAHHH!"

Laughing

I can't believe the topic of Ayanbedajo's tweets lasted as long as it did.

I also can't believe the report that some Patriots players thought "it was one of the most disrespectful things ever said" about them (if what Mike Freeman reported is correct)

I think you missed the sarcasm. Broncos fans thought we'd come out flat against them because of our emotional home game against Indy.

And SnA that was classic!

You don't quite understand the phrase then. It has nothing to do with anything "out of the ordinary" and is essentially another way of saying "Good for him".

I really hope you're not comparing dancing at a club after the season is over to going on twitter and trashing another team, as a STs player, the week before you face them...please tell me you're not trying to say those are the same.

Your assertion: BA's tweets after the game somehow are connected to his missing a STs tackle (by your own statement of him needing to focus on the tackles instead of tweeting).

My counter-assertion: By the same logic, that would mean Gronk's dancing after the SuperBowl is connected to his missing the hail mary. If you stand by your statement about BA, then you must agree with this one. Is that the case?

I really didn't think I'd have to spell it out so clearly, but I guess I overestimated your comprehension level. My apologies.

Quite clear to me at least that this wasn't a BA apology, it was a Harbaugh faux-apology through BA to stop the headlines and prevent further stories.

BA has always stood by his opinions on twitter. He was strong armed into this one for the sake of the team.

Hhahaha how many google searches did it take you to find something???

And I didn't know that Brandon Spikes was talking crap about other teams, or badmouthing anyone for that matter on that chatroulette video??? Oh wait, he wasn't.

Do I think that Spikes is a moron for doing it, yup, but that's my personal opinion, and he wasn't offending anyone or talking crap about anyone via the internet.
You mean like you're talking crap about Ayanbadejo right now? FOR SHAME.

The point is, nobody cares. It was a dumb comment. We all thought, "Well, the world is not a better place because Brendan Ayandbadejo tweeted. It's not a worse place, though. It's one of those things that doesn't matter." And then we moved on with our lives. If you're straining to make differentiations between people tweeting about another team and tweeting about chatroulette, you've clearly gone farther into this than you need. I just have a hard time believing that anyone is actually outraged about this.

I'm not saying its this huge deal or that it really makes a difference...I just didnt understand the whole, "more power to him" comment, like he was doing something commendable. I haven't lost any sleep over it, was just pointing out how it was a dumb move by whatever his name is, and how some BAL fans seems to think his move was something that warrented a "good for him" type reply, we simply disagree.

It's his opinion. I'm not arguing whether or not it's a valid one, or that I agree, or anything of the sort. My point is simply DTMB said "More power to him" in regards to a person posting their opinion on a social network site, like millions of people do each day. You seem to think that doing so somehow relates to "courage and heart". How? That's beyond me.

When someone says, "More power to them", it's my understanding that they aren't talking about doing something as average as posting a tweet, especially when said tweet is such an obvious ploy at attention, which was confirmed with his spygate and 18-1 tweets that followed.

Yes, it does.

More power to you simply means, "go for it!" So DTMB saying what he says means that Ayan isn't hurting anyone with his tweets, so... "Go for it". You don't own a monopolization on what an idiom means... How about you look at a few definitions, read the context of DTMB's message, and then report back at 0800.

I know he's not hurting anyone, I was just stating how it was stupid immature act, and the connotation "more power to him" doesn't usually go with such thing. Never said I owned the phrase, but I do know what it is basically used to mean, and supporting a dumb act, is not one of them.

Stop trying to be clever with your posts, it doesn't fit you.

Okay, it still doesn't make sense. I don't understand why someone would say, "good for him" after doing something like your player did. Saying "good for him" is something people do when a person does something "good", not when they act irresponsible. I just don't see it I guess.

Actually I was referring to the upcoming game against the Patriots, since he obviously hadn't played that one yet. I was saying that instead of tweeting, he should focus on tackling since he missed one in the Broncos game and has a very important game coming up.

Gronk on the other hand was partying and dancing AFTER his season was over....

Sorry, but you failed to comprehend my original post, my apologies for not simplifying it, I'll remember to next time we chat Wink

If voicing your opinion via the internet is a "stupid immature act", then we certainly have a lot of immature people on this site.

Again, the guy posted his opinion on a social network site. The fact that you continue to try to turn this into some "immature" and "irresponsible" act is hilarious.

You were clearly taking a shot at him missing a single tackle and relating it to tweeting. Let's not try to twist things, shall we?
