Was in DC for the weekend, so I was at a bar that was pretty heavily pro-Ravens. When we hit the 70 yard bomb I think I hugged at least 10 people I've never spoken to before, just complete pandemonium. I barely remember the field goal FTW, by that point I was pretty far gone, but it was more of the same for the most part. Nearly screamed myself hoarse on Saturday.

For what....being an idiot?

It doesn't exactly take courage and heart to post dumb ish on twitter.

Courage and heart? This ain't Braveheart. He had an opinion and he expressed it.

You're the one that said "More power to him" as if he was actually doing something positive and not completely retarded.

Maybe as a ST player, he should focus on tackling the returner instead of tweeting Wink

He said "more power to him" because he openly expressed his opinion on a social network site. Let's not act as if that's wrong by any means. Could it give the Patriots more fire? Sure, potentially. But if any of them really need something like that to fuel their fire for this game, then there's something wrong.

And the second part of your post is just stupid. He missed a single tackle in a game in which we won. I guess Gronk should have focused on catching a hail mary in a Super Bowl instead of dancing at a club Wink

Here goes ESPN again... Confused

10. Who will advance to the Super Bowl? Most everybody was primed for another chapter in the Peyton Manning-Tom Brady postseason series, but since Denver couldn't make that happen, it's difficult to see anybody stopping the Patriots at this point. It's not just about the home-field advantage, either. It's about knowing how to win at this stage of the postseason. New England is 5-1 in AFC Championship Games since Tom Brady became its starter. They're about to get win No. 6.

@espnradio-- all I heard Monday was honestly great praise for Ray Lewis and how he inspires our whole defense just by being on the field.

When they turned their focus to Sundays match up. I swear both the early shows spoke about the AFC Championship, but already talked about how it's a Patriots Super Bowl game again. Little to no respect that's stuck with us all season. Fine by me and I know those guys will be just as inspired like last Sunday.

Except his opinion was that of an idiot, which he proved to be with the tweets he posted. Not only were they dumb, but some of them were flat out wrong....calling the hurry up offense a gimmick??? Laughing Laughing Laughing

And yes...gronk should have caught that pass, your point??? Because I really hope you're not comparing dancing at a club after the season is over to going on twitter and trashing another team, as a STs player, the week before you face them...please tell me you're not trying to say those are the same.

It's his opinion. I'm not arguing whether or not it's a valid one, or that I agree, or anything of the sort. My point is simply DTMB said "More power to him" in regards to a person posting their opinion on a social network site, like millions of people do each day. You seem to think that doing so somehow relates to "courage and heart". How? That's beyond me.

I thought the point of that part of my post was quite clear in all honesty. Glass houses, friend. Glass houses.

Ayanbadejo should use the Internet for more constructive activities such as making porn on Chat Roullette like Brandon Spikes does.

When someone says, "More power to them", it's my understanding that they aren't talking about doing something as average as posting a tweet, especially when said tweet is such an obvious ploy at attention, which was confirmed with his spygate and 18-1 tweets that followed.

Whatever his name is didn't do something out of the ordinary, he did something a kid in middleschool would do, talk trash on twitter. To me, "more power to him", doesn't quite fit.

Hhahaha how many google searches did it take you to find something???

And I didn't know that Brandon Spikes was talking crap about other teams, or badmouthing anyone for that matter on that chatroulette video??? Oh wait, he wasn't.

Do I think that Spikes is a moron for doing it, yup, but that's my personal opinion, and he wasn't offending anyone or talking crap about anyone via the internet.

Ayadontreallymatter on the other hand found it necessary to go on a tirade bad mouthing the Patriots for absolutely no reason...calling the no huddle, which your team attempted to do early in the season, a gimmick.

Spikes isn't all there, there's no denying that. If you just read his tweets you can tell that.

Guy has a swagger on the field and can lay the wood though.

You mean like you're talking crap about Ayanbadejo right now? FOR SHAME.

The point is, nobody cares. It was a dumb comment. We all thought, "Well, the world is not a better place because Brendan Ayandbadejo tweeted. It's not a worse place, though. It's one of those things that doesn't matter." And then we moved on with our lives. If you're straining to make differentiations between people tweeting about another team and tweeting about chatroulette, you've clearly gone farther into this than you need. I just have a hard time believing that anyone is actually outraged about this.

Yes, it does.

More power to you simply means, "go for it!" So DTMB saying what he says means that Ayan isn't hurting anyone with his tweets, so... "Go for it". You don't own a monopolization on what an idiom means... How about you look at a few definitions, read the context of DTMB's message, and then report back at 0800.

Spikes is all there just like Ray Lewis is all there. He is so "all there" that he can act stupid/immature & still do what he wants at a high level. Spikes might act like a big kid, but this football IQ is sky high.

Brandon whatever his name is can obviously say whatever he wants. Whether it is realistically a wise move is certainly debatable, as the Pats were upset with the week 3 loss & obviously weren't in need of any extra motivation.

I kind of liked how blunt his tweets were though. No beating around the bush.

Today is Joe Flacco's 28th birthday! Hopefully we get the win on Sunday as a belated birthday present.
