NICE! I hope he gets it. I'd like to see him finally with a good QB.

Which QB are we talking about?

After listening to him talk and his opinions during the game... I think they would be better off not hiring him.

My sentiments exactly.

Maybe they're interviewing him because nobody else wants the job.

Or Billick is trying to get more money from FOX.

I thought he was a really good coach. Great at assembling a staff(see all the assistants who got HC jobs.) great game manager. We had an ungodly win % when winning turnovers and leading in 4th quarter. Did a good job calling plays in 2006 when he took over after firing Fassel. I think if we had ever gotten a QB I think we would have been a dynasty.

I agree, I've been surprised year after year that he hasn't gotten another job and the the other out of work SB winning coaches names come up constantly.

From what I understand he isn't the best "lockerroom" guy when it comes to living with the front office ownership so he rubs people the wrong way, which is why he never got the interest he probably should have after Baltimore. As mentioned, one thing I like about him is like Tomlin, he is willing to bring in great coordinators and knows that he is a head coach, not just a coordinator with a bigger paycheck.

That said, I'd image that his long coaching layoff would leave him a bit too rusty to be a top notch candidate. I wouldn't hire him but I still prefer him to Gruden or Cowher.

This guy is doddery - he thought the Seahawks won last night's game, a game he was commenting on.

I couldn't believe he was actually saying the Seahawks should kick the FG and go for the onside kick with 40ish seconds left instead of it being 4-down territory. Absolute insanity.

I think this is the most likely reason.
