Yep. we are a different team because we ACTUALLY have a coaching staff now.
but I will say, I can't remember the last time we beat them nor beat them in ATL? maybe 2000?
edit: last time we beat them was in ATL back in 2001. in OT 37-31. |
So we're due? |
Speaking of being due, the last time the 49ers won a road playoff game was January 8th, 1989.
That's a streak that badly needs to end. |
Not since Joe! Wow I would have thought that Young would have won at least one on the road! |
unfortunately for us, everytime we played a road playoff game we were playing against Brett Favre... |

Hopefully they dominate Atlanta and win this game by the 3rd quarter. _________________

Definitely, this team is fortunate enough to get back to where they were last season, but understand the disappointment of losing the NFCCG.
If we win the toss, do you prefer to receive the ball, or kick it away? I think it would be huge if we could start the game with a scoring drive in the dome. _________________

Even better if we can stop their first drive, score, take the lead into the half, start the second half with the ball and run out the clock. _________________

Against the Packers we won the toss and chose to receive instead of defer (though normally, we deferred).
I trust Jim to make the right calls. _________________

It's nice to see Justin getting a lot of reps in practice. They said he had a full practice. He looked pretty good in the GB game so I hope he keeps the hard work up so we get a win. _________________

Aldon Smith again limited in practice and seems like it will be that way until the season is over.
Getting a stop and scoring on our first possession would be great as well. Who knows, but this was the first time we have received the ball after winning the toss.
Vernon Davis your time to shine this week! _________________

I think that late pass VD caught was bigger than we think. His psyche after the game was great and said he was relieved to finally catch a deep ball. _________________

Its almost embarrassing how little (zero) AJ has produced. Is this the worst rookie year a healthy 49er has ever had? |
