Yep. There wasn't much else they could've done. They may have been able to get an extra 4-6 yards, but that still wouldn't have given Longwell much of an opportunity. He doesn't have the leg. |

You can also fall down and declare yourself down. Give yourself up so to speak.

There was 2 seconds left on the clock with the play they ran, there was no time for a WR to run 20 yards, have Wilson throw it then to the 25 yard gain. The game would have ended right there. Fall down and declare yourself down, would take like 2 more seconds also, thats not going to be declared fast...

The rest of the AFC needs to step up... getting bored seeing the Patriots in the big game every year.

well, beauty's in the eye of the beholder, i guess.
i remember watching the San Francisco teams under Walsh and Montana. never got boring watching them out-coach and out-execute the other teams.
no difference here. quite similar, actually.
