The All-Pro teams were announced.

Hard to believe Mankins made it, but he was voted to the 2nd team All-Pro list, Wilfork to the first team All-Pro list.

Hard to believe Brady didn't make it and Manning had so many votes.

He wasn't even selected 2nd team, he only received 3 votes to Rodgers 4 and Manning 43.

I suppose that means Peterson or Manning get MVP for sure now.

And again, the voters prove they have no business having a vote.

What has Manning done so better than Brady to receive all this love?

Had his neck operated on 4 times and joined a team that was QB'ed by Tim Tebow last year.

Instead of having one vote that is half fans and half NFL people (Pro Bowl), and one vote that is all media (All Pro), they should have a half fan/half media vote and one vote that is entirely players/coaches. Having a media vote is just a glorified fan vote at this point - All-Pro #70 can attest to that.

And the #3 scoring offense of all time has one All-Pro, who didn't even deserve it.

On the bright side, the Jets had no All Pros, and 6 total votes Laughing

So, are we supposed to take injury and team turn around into account when comparing QB play?

No, but you asked what others took into account. There you have it.

I think it's a joke that David Wilson got 2nd team on the strength of basically one game, and Darius Reynaud, who was spectacular all year, only got 2 votes.

Not to mention Reynaud's best one game was better than Wilson's anyway.

This thread is incorrectly titled. I'd like to point out that this is simply the AP all pro team. There is also two other all pro teams, so Gronk and slater are also All-Pros named to the PFWA team. I do not think the Sporting News All Pro team (a poll of coaches) has been published yet. I personally always think the PFWA is the best team, since it has the most voters.
