Did the same thing on a Rams MB too. Not a fan. Then again, our defense was nearly a top 10 unit with no DC this year. Ryan has to be better than no DC...can't see how he can screw-up with our personnel. Maybe he'll finally get that top 10 scoring defense that has eluded him. Laughing

As a personality, I really like the guy. I wanted to keep him and was upset. Until we got Kiffin, now I am not upset at all.

He has some great assistants and is fiery. Its hard not to like him personally. I think you will come around. I hope he has some success, as his track record is pretty poor right now.

Rams can easily run a 3-4 with a couple additions if they want to.

DE- Langford
NT- Brockers
DE- Long
OLB- Quinn
ILB- Lariniutus
ILB-?
OLB- Dunbar

Rams will not be running a 3-4 and Dunbar is not a 3-4 OLB. Long would be a 3-4 OLB.

The only spots on our defense open are DC and LB Coach. He won't be getting rid of our DL Coach or DB Coach.

Its extra funny cause you just called him a crappy DC in the other thread.

Looking good babe.. Ima be in Dallas tomorrow! Gotta unload a load of beans to Amarillo! Let's dance a lil selena..

Rob Ryan had a very good D in Oakland. Btw, Fisher won't tolerate for his BS... Dude will smack him a couple times, He isn't Garret. Fisher has full control of this team.

We have some very good coaches in this roster. Seasoned vets!

Yea......he never had a good defense in Oakland.

In his defense, we ran a 4-3 when he always wanted a 3-4. He was never any good in Oakland though. Didn't think he was very good in Cleveland either. Not really in Dallas. He's nothing more than a black sheep in the Ryan family. And that's saying something.

According to team sources, Rams have NOT hired Rob Ryan. They are interested, maybe even intrigued is a better word. But they are very. . .

. . . .early in the process of hiring a defensive coordinator. Jeff FIsher likes to take his time on such hires.

As recently as Wednesday afternoon, the Rams had not even expressed interest in Ryan, according to sources familiar with Ryan.

Billy posted this too, so I'm holding him responsible.
It's been a rough offseason for Billy.

That REALLY didn't seem necessary at all to me.

In general i stay away from replying to such posts but that was so completely unnecessary.

Interesting move by the Rams in my opinion because I always thought that Jeff Fisher was a 4-3 guy. I do like Rob as a DC though, just not sure how their personnel fit what Rob likes to do.
