Jim Wyatt is reporting it all over Twitter. His contact was expiring and we decided to let him go.

To those fans that somehow still defend Bud Adams/Munchak. I hope this finally opens your eyes and you realize how lost both of these idiots are when coming to running an NFL team. How can you defend a HC/Owner that fires their 2 of the best position coaches, while allowing a certain coordinator to stay? Oh, did I mention that said coordinator, allowed his defensive to be, statistically, one of the worst units in NFL HISTORY.
It blows my mind, why some posters on here defended Bud/Munchak on every decision that they make. I understand being a fan and wanting to support your team. However, I would think you would be smart enough to know when it's clear that your Owner/coaches are just simply idiots and deserve to be called out of it.
Lowry probably had the best unit on the field, for the Titans, for the first 5-6 games last season and now he's out of a job.. LOL on so many levels...
I will continue to watch and root for the Titans, but the ownership of this franchise has taken a serve downfall in the last 5-6 years.

Good. Our special teams was poor and lacked any sort of creativity or trick plays. _________________

This is one that doesn't make sense to me. Sure we had a lot of penalties but geez. We're firing everyone but the guys who really need to go. _________________

I don't understand how any of this is going to make us a better team next year. It's foolish. Dipshidiots- that's what I think about Munchak and co. _________________

The only "Good" reason I can come up with is that Lowry didn't want to come back and you can't blame him. He'd be on a 1 year contract anyways. I bet he ends up in St. Louis. _________________

& Griffin doesn't suck either right? Your posts have been baffling recently. Even Bud Adams probably knows Griffin stinks. Don't bring up his stats where he got most of them in the final week or two either. Guy led the league in missed tackles and took the wrong angle or laid a weak hit on a guy every other time. |

Am I the only one that thought our special teams was pretty disappointing this year? Sure...Reynaud had a few touchdowns, but our kick coverage was terrible, punt coverage was mediocre and we committed a ton of penalties.
Not sure I agree with the firing, but let's not act as though the ST's were amazing, and they really haven't been for a long time. _________________

You guys need to look at the bigger picture.
There is only one reason for us doing all of this: Bud Adams is preparing for a run at a top 2 draft pick.
We either get Bridgewater or Clowney, fire Munchak and hire a legit coaching staff, then pave our way to the playoffs for the next decade.
It's the bigger picture folks, and Adams has the balls to pull it off. _________________

You must be watching a different group of Titans play. High school?

Yeah, he had 3 picks late in the season. He just took his game to another level. He still had another interception and TWO forced fumbles earlier in the season. Hell, against San Diego he had 16 solo tackles!
You can criticize the defense, but Griffin (while he DID make a handful of mistakes this season) did his job. _________________

He'll be dead by the time we make the playoffs again. _________________

Wow, I bet all 16 of them were surely not after the Chargers already got a 1st down! _________________
