Deshea Townsend Accepts Miss St. Coaching Position

It was noted in another thread but I figured it was good enough to mention on its own, assistant defensive backs coach Deshea Townsend is leaving the team to accept the defensive backs job at the University of Georgia.

How this affects us I don't really know but I do know that Horton thought a lot of the guy's abilities to be a big time coach down the line. Here's to wishing him the best of luck in his endeavors.

Thanks for correcting me Boise, Townsend accepted a job with Mississippi State, not Georgia.

truth be told, I am kind of upset about this. I was hoping to see Horton become the HC, Cioffi to DC and Townsend to DB's coach. Which is one more reason for me to be upset that Ray Horton has not been named this teams next HC.
