ok so your stating Rex Ryan doesnt have Talent DropKick? that right there will lose you the debate because he does have talent as a defensive coach. Class? not so much but in the NFL you gotta have an ego to seperate yourself. I also would love him as a DC because of his attitude because it can rub off on his players. I want some DBs who will play a little dirty. Someone who will hit you a little late and etc just so he can make the offensive player think about him.
you want to bring in a DC who has no experience at calling a defense? You talk about Class, Keith Butler has been the LB coach for the steelers since 2003, his linebackers are never going to win a mr.nice guy award. Do you think he was telling Harrison to play a little nicer? F**K NO! he was prolly patting him on the ass and tell himg a good job for being a mean S.O.B |
A player being mean s.o.b. on the field and a Coach representing an organization, fan base, and city acting like a clown in front of national media are two different things. _________________

A coach who has never called a defense compared to a coach who has lead five top10 defensive units and has coached two #1 ranked defenses (two different teams) 8years as a DC or HC and his defenses has finished top10 or better 5x. I take the clown with the track record _________________

Adam Schefter is stating that the Cardinals have dismissed defensive LB, DL and DB coaches.
it be nice if Horton can get some of them into Cleveland so the defensive staff knows each other _________________

i bet that happens quickly. I have only looked quickly at their staff, but its definitely worth taking a look at least. _________________

Also if Keith Butler is such a good potential DC candidate? why hasnt he been given a promotion since 2003. Harrison and Woodleys performance should of built him good resume. Should show you something. _________________

Sorry, not enough information available to make an informed opinion on that question. Saying that is a positive or a negative is pure speculation. _________________

Butler has been there since 2003 and you rarely hear his name come up. so that shows you he either draws no attention from outside the steelers or he is dead set on taking over the steelers DC position, Either way your idea of a DC replacement is not very good or likely so try again _________________

I don't care if our head coach runs around pantsing blind old men and farting on nuns, if he wins us a Super Bowl I'll root for him. _________________

I know this question wasn't for me, but...
As a DC? I could deal with it. He is just way too soft to be a head coach. Also, the worst game manager ever.
I don't want someone who reflects poorly upon the organization, as in a bad person. Someone with quirks is fine. Rex is quirky, would I want him as a buddy, probably not. He can coach my team though. (theoretically anyway, he had a lot of defensive talent in B-More and the early years in NY, he may not be as good as we all think)
Ray Lewis? I'll pass. He has probably participated in murder and the punching of a female face. That in my opinion reflects poorly. A loudmouth with a foot fetish, in the grand scheme of things is just strange. I am certainly okay with strange.
Who hasn't spent weekends of their youth searching for strange? |

I would quit rooting for the Browns faster that way than if they kept losing each year.... _________________
