This.
If I have to listen to another coach go up to the mic and say "this ones on me" again......
I want a no nonsense guy who is gonna hold the players accountable. |
This is a dumb Philly fan-ism. No coach worth a damn is going to step in front of a mic and blast players. You do that stuff behind closed doors. _________________

I remember Andy benching Jackson for a game because he missed a meeting.
A whole game.
Oh, and that whole Terrell Owens thing too. If you truly think Andy was a complete push-over it's because that's the image he portrayed through his words, meaning you've been duped. _________________

While I expect he won't be our HC, I'm mildly intrigued by Billick. _________________

| Quote: | Jason La Canfora of CBSSports.com reported Saturday that the Eagles were in contact with former Steelers head coach Bill Cowher early in the interview process ...
Nothing came of those reported talks, of course, as Cowher recently declared that he has "no intention" on returning to coaching any time soon. |

On Brian Billick

Per Glazer, Bradley's interview was great, and to expect him to come in this week for a 2nd interview. _________________

Sounds like there's something in this.
I'd be pleased with Gus. _________________

Bradley will be the Head Coach.
Jeffrey Lurie wants to get away from Bob Lamonte- hard to do without firing Roseman. Makes Grudens & Mike McCoy not viable candidates.
Bradley is the schematic fit. Team wants to implement a 4-3 Under attacking one gap scheme. _________________ I'd Select Ziggy Ansah 1st Overall |

I didn't say that, in the last 10 years only 1 (Dungy, maybe Tomlin) nice guy players coaches have won the Super Bowl.
No nonsense guys like Belichick, Coughlin, Cowher, Peyton, and McCarthy win.
It's just the way it is, and none of them (except maybe Cowher) are screamers, but you know damn well they hold their players accountable
I didn't say I want to hire Jim Mora to watch him tell us how bad we suck every week, we've got PE for that.
This roster and team need a new direction and a new voice. |

I guess he's staying behind and flying up here for a second interview? Maybe? _________________

2nd interview seems like a good time for Bradley to see the working environment though. _________________

True. Wouldn't they bring more than one to 2nd interview Though? _________________

I expect McCoy and others to get second interviews sometime this week,
But like Phire. Said I think they'll want any serious candidate to come checkout the facilities and the city....as it is a selling point. _________________
