Maybe this is a smokescreen and more options are with the 4 teams? |
The reports are that Billick interviewed as an OC, whether that's true or not..... |
Before hiring a HC? Seems unlikely. |
Either way I don't get the interview |

Everything I've read indicates it's Bradley and Whisenhunt at the top with Lovie and Billick behind...
Wonder if they'll bring in Whiz again while Bradley's in Jacksonville...
Or conduct another super-secret interview that we won't finnd out about for a few days... |

The think that I really like about Whiz is his connections in regards to assembling a staff.
Mularkey, Grimm, Horton, Haley (could still get fired), all other Lebeau decipled.
I'm one of the guys who really likes Whiz. |

I'm one of the guys who really likes Whiz. | Same here. I love the way Pittsburgh's team is constructed from the top down. Discipline, physicality, fundamentals are vital, no-nonsense with off the field issues, commanding respect, commitment to a run game. I want our franchise to resemble that, which is why I could endorse Wiz (if Bradley declines the job).
Here's a link to that btw:

My biggest problems with Whiz are that (1) he has shown that he does not and is completely unwilling to adapt his scheme to his personnel - I.E. poor offensive line play, suspect quartterback play, slow developing routes - and (2) he was never able to develop a quarterback out in Arizona.
Now if you want to say he developed Ben - you could argue that, but I think Ben has become a more complete player Post-Whisenhunt.
I do like his connections in terms of staff so I don't hate the choice, but the first quality I am looking for is adaptibility - talent, not scheme driven coaching... |

My sense is the #Eagles search is heading down the home stretch. A new coach today? I hear it's possible. #threetogo |
Ian's been pretty good thus far, but not getting my hopes up... Plus, have no idea who it would be... |

If it ends up being Ken Whisenhunt, then what was the point of all this?
We would be replacing Andy Reid with Whisenhunt.

Probably not, think Arizona can block a lateral move... |
