| I don't think that it will happen. They would have to become a HC or the organization would need to release them. I think they stay at least 1 year. |

Toub is gone for sure, he's already interviewing w/ other teams for ST jobs, and if Lovie gets a job Rod is good as gone as well. _________________

If we release him - sure.
If the Bears are leaning Trestman (or have made that decision) its possible he has a ST coach he wants - but if they want Toub to stay, he stays. _________________

And w/ the NFL being exempt from anti-trust laws, there is no non-compete clause in his contract. Besides all that, the Bears have allowed him to interview for other jobs, once they've done that its over. They recognize Toub isn't staying and they are doing the right thing by him. _________________

FYI Supes, player contracts are very different than coach contracts. Coach contracts are guaranteed for starters. Also teams do in fact have the power to block coaches from leaving and taking another job if they are under contract. A team can let them out of their contract but the team still has control.
Also, if Lovie gets a DC job somewhere do you really think Marinelli would want to leave and take less money to be a d-line coach?
We are going to have to wait and see what happens but at this point Marinelli seems like a very strong possibility to be retained. _________________

That's up to Webby to decide, but considering that he's replacing his posts with "null" I'd assume you don't have to worry about seeing him too much. _________________ Martellus Bennet highlight video: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5lP8fHN53t0 |
