Lovie's time was up. And this guy must have wowed the Bears FO. Remember The Bears had like 13 or so canidates. _________________

I expect a good rivalry with Minnesota....
1. Born in Minneapolis, Minnesota
2. Played 3 seasons at the University of Minnesota.
3. Played 1 season at Minnesota State University.
4. Played 2 seasons with the Minnesota Vikings.
5. RB coach for the Vikings for 2 years.
6. QB coach for the Vikings for 2 years. _________________

He has an impressive track record and seems to be high on a lot of nfl players lists. They seem to marvel at his work with QB's and on offense.
Plus, he had an 8 hour interview with Emery, double the time of the others that interviewed. |

This guy seems to work magic with QB's, which I simply cannot wait to see him work with Cutler. Finally we can see the best out of him, something I've known he's capable of for several years now. He seems to be very respected around the league, the CFL label is merely contributed to bad timing with jobs in the NFL. If Rod and Co stay and remain in control of the Defense, then let Trestman and his guys run the O this will be the most balanced Bears coaching staff in over a decade. _________________

I do not believe there's any validity to the Jimmy Johnson tweet about #Bears and Marc Trestman. Phil Emery still has interviews coming up |

let's wait on these "x is hiring y" threads until a major info guy reports it. We've had, what now, a dozen of these twitter rumor threads this week? _________________

| He was a great QB coach and OC for the Raiders during the Rich Gannon era. |
